The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has appointed eight new credit union representatives to its Credit Union Advisory Council.
The new members of the bureau's CUAC are:
- Faith Lleva Anderson, senior vice president/general counsel, American Airlines FCU, Fort Worth, Texas;
- Daniel Berry, CEO, Duke University FCU, Durham, N.C.;
- Patrick F. Harrigan, chief risk officer/general counsel, Service CU, Portsmouth, N.H.;
- Ricardo Ledezma, corporate compliance assurance manager, SACU, San Antonio, Texas;
- Sarah Marshall, CEO, North Side Community FCU, Chicago;
- Dayatra T. Matthews, senior vice president of legal and compliance, Local Government FCU, Raleigh, N.C.;
- Amy Nelson, CEO, Point West CU, Portland, Ore.; and
- Raynor Zillgitt, vice president risk management/general counsel, Lake Trust CU, Brighton, Mich.
Both CUNA and NAFCU thanked the bureau for its thoughtful selection of credit union executives for the advisory council, as well as offering thanks to the executives who are stepping up to the plate to represent the movement's interests.
CFPB's CUAC has 15 members, all of them from credit unions with $10 billion or less in assets, NAFCU noted, with newly appointed members serving two-year terms.
