TOPEKA, Kan. - (09/13/04) -- Three area non-profit organizationswere the recipients of $1,500 contributions each to kick off thenew Topeka CU Foundation. The charitable contributions went to theHousing and Credit Counseling, the Capper Foundation, and TopekaRescue Mission. The six credit union participating in thefoundation are: CommunityAmerica CU, Credit Union 1 of Kansas,Credit Unions United, Educational Credit Union, Kansas Blue CrossBlue Shield CU, and Kansas Super Chief CU.
