Chartway FCU Cultivates New Utah Membership With Cash

SALT LAKE CITY – Virginia’s Chartway FCU, still breaking into the Utah market, awarded members of its recently acquired HeritageWest and SouthWest Community credit unions $21,000 in financial gifts through the month of April as get-acquainted gifts.

The $1.3 billion Virginia Beach-based credit union awarded a $100 gift card each weekday in April, and each of the newly acquired credit union divisions sent one of their daily winners on an all-expense paid cruise for two valued at up to $5,000.

These giveaways were part of their month-long Member Appreciation Event in which all members in good standing were automatically entered to win. Total entries for each member were based on the total number of products he/she had with the credit union. The more products members had with the credit union, the more chances they had to win.

Chartway announced the winners on its Facebook page.
