BOSTON - (01/10/05) -- A former payroll supervisor at theChildren's Museum pleaded guilty Friday to stealing more than$200,000 form the museum and numerous fellow employees, thenlaundering the money through her and her mother's credit unionaccounts. Nicole Bartlett, 44, confessed to preparing, endorsing,then depositing 440 unauthorized checks, much of which shedeposited in her account at Rockland FCU, or joint accounts sheheld with her mother at the credit union. Bartlett, who was firedin March 2003 when the scheme was uncovered, faces up to 10 yearsin prison when she is sentenced on March 31.
