PEORIA, Ill. – Citizens Equity First CU yesterday announced is has signed with Vsoft Corp. to install the company’s suite of image capture technology. The suite includes Vsoft’s Image Capture, Image Exchange, Archive, Branch Item Capture, Merchant Capture, Image Statements and eStatements solutions.
Vsoft said the implementation will streamline workflow and eliminate the need for paper cash letters for check clearing for CEFCU. The technology will allow the $3.3 billion credit union to capture check images at its branch and merchant customer locations and transmit image cash letters for clearing. All images captured within the system will be archived for future research and retrieval. Electronic statements will be generated automatically, reducing the time and labor costs associated with traditional statement rendering.
