Clearview Federal Credit Union in Pennsylvania names first female CEO

Clearview Federal Credit Union in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, has named Lisa Florian as its new president and CEO.

She will become the first female chief executive in the $1.8 billion-asset credit union's 70-year history.

Effective April 1, Florian will replace Ron Celaschi, who was recently named chief executive of $1 billion-asset Patriot Federal Credit Union in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Celaschi worked as Clearview's president and CEO for the past five years, and will remain to aid Florian's transition to the role through March 31.

Lisa Florian will become the first female chief executive in the $1.8 billion-asset credit union’s 70-year history.

Florian is currently senior vice president of member experience, digital strategy and marketing at Clearview, a role she was promoted to in 2020. She has been with the credit union since 2015.

"Lisa is a true reflection of the mission and vision of Clearview," said Clearview Chairperson Brian Notman Jr. in a press release Wednesday. "Coupled with experience and her passion for this organization, the board of directors and I are confident she will continue to lead Clearview to a great future."

The company said Florian will focus on the brand's evolution while building a member-forward culture and increasing access through digital channels for its 114,000 members.

Clearview earned $16.6 million in 2022, a 19% increase compared with a year earlier, according to call report data from the National Credit Union Administration.
