COLUMBUS, Ohio – TNB Card Services said yesterday it bought another large credit union cards portfolio, it’s second large purchase in a week. The deal for Columbus, Ohio-based CME FCU’s $15 million portfolio, with 5,500 accounts, comes a few days after the credit union-owned bank announced the acquisition of a $16 million portfolio from A+ FCU, in Austin, Texas. The two deals, larger the typical TNB acquisitions, come a few weeks after the company raised $60 million in a stock offering in order to pursue larger deals. TNB is owned by Dallas-based Town North Bank, the only credit union-owned bank.
