EUREKA, Calif. – Coast Central CU awarded community investment grants totaling $50,000 to three local non-profits.
The winners were: Trinity County Life Support ($21,550); North Coast Honor Flight, which funds veterans’ trips to Washington to view the World War II Memorial; and, $8,450 to Humboldt Medi-Trans, which covers local costs for a new medical van and, thus, expands the access of health care to the underserved individuals in Humboldt County.
The credit union’s Community Investment Program provides $100,000 a year in semi-annual grants to non-profits in Humboldt, Del Norte and Trinity counties.
