GREELEY, Colo. – An employee for Colorado State CU was shot to death as she was leaving work Tuesday and police arrested and charged the wife of a Weld County Sheriff’s deputy with the shooting. The victim, identified as Heather Garraus, was the wife of a Greeley Police officer. The suspect in the shooting, identified as Shawna Nelson, a former police dispatcher and wife of a Weld County sheriff's office worker. Police would not speculate on a motive for the killing. Nelson was being held over night and is scheduled to be charged in the shooting this morning.
