VANCOUVER, Wash. -- Columbia CU has submitted a request to the city to build a second office building at its main operation center.
The proposal is for a 20,000-square-foot, two-story structure located just north of the site's existing 33,000-square-foot building. The center is located on 2.7 acres, next to the $820 million credit union’s Cascade Park branch.
The credit union moved some of its services out of the operation site in east Vancouver, in 2003 and transferred employees and services to a fifth-floor office space in downtown Vancouver, in an effort to maintain a downtown presence.
