HUDSON, N.Y. – In an effort to better reach members in rural Greene County, Columbia-Green FCU plans to introduce a mobile mini-branch to one of the credit union’s select groups.
Officials with the $22 million credit union said office space, a space in an office, or even a table in a hallway would be sufficient space for credit union employees to perform necessary tasks. Scheduling would be flexible and the credit union could operate anywhere from three to five days a week.
The credit union was founded in 1975 to serve the faculty and staff of the Hudson City School District. Since then the credit union has grown to include 13 school districts, and various organizations, companies and municipalities throughout both Columbia and Greene counties, serving approximately 4,800 members.
