FARMINGTON HILL, Mich. – Community Choice CU announced it is establishing a non-profit foundation with a goal of providing $1 million in scholarships between now and 2012.

The $415 million credit union has pledged $400,000 to the Community Choice Foundation to get the fund started and will solicit contributions from members.
Community Choice will offer $100,000 in scholarships this year to graduates with at least a 3.0 grade point average from high schools in Genesee, Lapeer, Livingston, Macomb, Oakland, St. Clair, Washtenaw and Wayne counties.
