Community First CU of Florida Quits Indirect Lending

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Community First CU of Florida, one of the state’s largest credit unions, said it has discontinued its indirect auto lending program. The program is one of Florida’s largest at about $100 million a year through 12 dealerships. Officials with the $1 billion credit union said they indirect auto loans amounted mostly to short-term relationships that were hard to expand on.
