FERNDALE, Mich.-Credit Union ONE awarded a $1,000 scholarship to Hazel Park High School graduate Jasen Herrera, and Ferndale High School graduate Caitlin Herrold.

FCSFCU Donates To Youth Program

GLENDALE, Calif.-1st City Savings Federal Credit Union donated $2,000 to Devil Pups Inc., a youth good citizenship and physical eduction program.

Liberty Donates $5,000 to AACUC

MOUNDS VIEW, Minn.-Liberty donated $5,000 in support of the African American Credit Union Coalition. "The Liberty donation will certainly go a long way in our efforts to promote credit union career opportunities for African Americans and other people of color through our internship program," said AACUC Chair Hubert Hoosman.

TACOMA, Wash.-Sound Credit Union awarded $1,000 scholarships to Brieanne Conklin, Brandon Wholey, and Scott Baxter.

PMFCU Awards 13 Students

VENTURA, Calif.-Point Mugu Federal Credit Union and local businesses contributed to The Youth Achievement Award Scholarships. The credit union presented $1,000 checks to 13 high school graduates during a breakfast held in their honor.

CCU Holds 50 Plus Festival

FRANKFORT, Ky.-Commonwealth Credit Union held its 2nd annual 50 Plus Festival, which featured more than 60 exhibitors, a live bluegrass band, and free food for all members age 50 and above.

EWING, N.J.-NJDOT Credit Union awarded Alyson L. Boyer a $1,000 scholarship and John W. Sullivan III a $500 scholarship.

NuMark Raises $7,950 For Cancer

COUNTRYSIDE, Ill.-NuMark Credit Union participated in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life event, and raised $7,590.

RFCU Names Sweepstake Winners

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga.-Robins Federal Credit Union announced the winners of its new location sweepstakes. Maria Gordon won $1,000, Eunice Bradley won $500, and Bobbi Jean Dailey won a television.

In additional news, Robins FCU opened its newest branch located at Hartley Bridge Road in Macon.

TCU Chairman Recognized

CLEVELAND, Ohio-The Telephone Credit Union Chairman Joseph Coleman and his wife, Marilyn, were recognized with a Pride Award from the Parma Area Chamber of Commerce for their outstanding contributions to the community.

CUANJ Hosts Golf Tournament

NYSCUL Presents Awards

ALBANY, N.Y.-The New York State Credit Union League held its 82nd annual meeting and inducted Edward LaRock and Nino Montani into its hall of fame, named Karen Edler, Arlene Rudin and Peter Zlotkowski outstanding professionals, and Geno Gizzi outstanding volunteer. GHS FCU, Sidney FCU, and Xerox FCU were awarded 1st place in the Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility awards. GHS FCU was also awarded 1st place in the Louise Herring Award for Philosophy in Action. Bruce LaGrow was named educator of the year.

AHFCU Holds Gelatin Olympics

PHILADELPHIA-American Heritage FCU held its 9th Annual Gelatin Olympics and raised $21,229 for the Kid 'N Hope Foundation, which supports the Music Therapy Program at The Children's Hospital.
