F21CCU Hosts Children's Booth

CHULA VISTA, Calif.-Financial 21 Community Credit Union hosted a Missing Children's Awareness booth at the Day of the Child Celebration held at Memorial Park. More than 350 families received ID kits.

In additional news, Financial 21 Community CU's East County branch held a member appreciation day, and transformed its lobby into a movie theater, complete with movie posters , candy treats, and a raffle.

San Francisco CUs Feed The Hungry

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.-The San Francisco Chapter of Credit Unions helped sort, shelve, and process 40,000 lbs. of food to help feed the hungry of San Francisco. The event was sponsored by the San Francisco Food Bank.

Money Raised For NYCU Foundation

ALBANY, N.Y.-A reception honoring Patrick Calhoun's tenure as New York Credit Union League Chairman raised $11,000 for the The New York Credit Union Foundation. Additionally, a golf tournament, sponsored by Empire Corporate FCU raised $3,000 for the Foundation.

LAUREL, Md.-Tower Federal Credit Union celebrated its 50th anniversary by hosting an online treasure hunt sweepstakes. More than 6,200 participants entered to win a trip to Hawaii and other prizes.

PFCU Sponsors Golf Classic

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J.- Paragon Federal Credit Union held its 6th Annual Golf Classic and raised $14,000 for student scholarships and the Tomorrow's Children's Fund, which provides emotional, social and financial assistance to children with cancer. More than 90 people participated in the event.
