Workers CU Holds Gives Away Prizes

FITCHBURG, Mass.-All eight branches of Workers Credit Union held a month-long Summer Sizzler celebration and gave away $300 gift certificates, cash prizes, and a grand prize trip to Las Vegas.

CU Chapter Collects Toys For Tots

SSFCU Hosts Emergency Blood Drive

SAN ANTONIO, Texas-Security Service Federal Credit Union recently hosted an emergency blood drive in support of the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center. With blood supply at an all-time low, an emergency drive was organized in an effort to help replenish the stock. Twenty SSFCU employees donated blood.

OCCU Holds Neighborhood Picnic

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif.-To promote its newest branch, Orange County's Credit Union held a picnic in the parking lot. More than 1,000 guests enjoyed BBQ sandwiches, hot dogs, Dixieland music, a petting zoo, popcorn, cookies and free giveaways.

CUNA CU Donates To Centro Hispano

MADISON, Wis.-CUNA Credit Union donated $1,500 for a computer projector for Centro Hispano, which promotes a better quality of life for the Latino community. The projector will be used for training programs that CUNA CU conducts.

GFCU Hosts Paintball Tournament

ATLANTA-Georgia Federal Credit Union hosted a paintball tournament to help raise money for the Credit Union Political Action Committee. Seven teams of seven competed for the top spot in a round robin elimination tournament. Individual and corporate sponsors donated funds to help CUPAC.
