In additional news, 150 volunteers from the credit union teamed up with Harrah's Senior Coalition to refurbish and renovate the Las Vegas Blind Center. Tasks included wallpapering, painting, replacing blinds, landscaping, cleaning, organizing and electrical work.

Also, 32 employees from Community One FCU participated in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walk to Cure Diabetes and raised $6,408 for the cause.
