* MidWest Financial CU, Ann Arbor, Mich., donated $1,270 for hurricane relief efforts.

* Financial Partners CU, Downey, Calif., donated $7,000 to the American Red Cross to aid those affected by Hurricane Katrina.

* Nevada FCU, Las Vegas, announced the opening of its new Boulder Lake Mead branch.

* Lockheed FCU, Burbank, Calif., donated $38,572 to the American Red Cross for its Hurricane Relief Fund.

* Redstone FCU, Huntsville, Ala., participated in a 30-second public service announcement to fight identity theft.

* Technology CU, San Jose, Calif., donated $1,000 toward emergency supplies for Garden Gate Elementary School.

* In Marlborough, Mass., the Massachusetts Credit Union League's social responsibility committee and board of directors presented a $100,000 donation to the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless.

* SEFCU, Albany, N.Y., delivered a U-Haul filled with hundreds of pounds of school supplies and a $25,000 check for Vernado High School in Louisiana, which was devastated by Hurricane Katrina.

* PrimeWay FCU, Houston, is participating in three local Salvation Army facilities to offer financial education programs.

* Denali Alaskan FCU, Anchorage, opened an in-school branch at Wendler Middle School.

Western New York FCU, West Seneca, held a linen drive to benefit hurricane victims in Jackson, Miss.
