CommunityAmerica CU’s TruHome CUSO In Broad Expansion

LENEXA, Kan. – CommunityAmerica CU said its TruHome Solutions CUSO that provides mortgage services to credit unions around the country, has opened a new operations center and expects to hire 400 to 500 people over the next few years.

The CUSO, which currently employs 240 people at its administration office, has opened a new operations center. Both facilities will be able to accommodate up to 412 employees when fully occupied, and the company already has an option on additional space.

TruHome provides mortgage services to 80 credit unions. Its plans include serving as many as 200 credit unions over the next few years and expanding into the community bank market.

TruHome expects to invest about $10 million over the next five years in its facilities. It currently has 60,000 square-feet of space and has an option for another 35,000 square feet.

The CUSO is being offered incentives that include training dollars and assistance from the Kansas PEAK program, which allows a company to keep 95% of their employees’ state income taxes for up to five to seven years. The value of the incentives was not available.
