SANTA ANA, Calif. – Compushare Inc. announced Saturday it has acquired Garrison Security Services, Inc., an Austin, Texas-based provider of technical support services for credit unions. The deal expands Compushare’s push into the credit union market, and makes the company’s own IT services available to Garrison’s credit union customers. It is the second acquisition in the last year for Compushare, following last year’s deal for Pifer Technology Services, a Barrington, New Jersey, provider of IT services for banks and credit unions in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions. Terms of the Garrison deal were not disclosed.
