The Credit Union League of Connecticut (CULCT) and CATIC have partnered to provide professional title services to the state's credit unions and their policy-issuing attorneys.
CULCT, a non-profit trade association that serves credit unions throughout Connecticut, said its partnership with CATIC will provide education and insight for Connecticut's credit unions.
"At a time when multiple regulatory agencies are focused on compliance, CATIC will be a resource for informing our member credit unions on changes that impact the real estate lending process," Nick Moalli, vice president of credit union services at CULC, said in a press release.
The new partnership will allow the underwriter to partner with its attorney agents and lenders "to comply with the many requirements imposed by Dodd-Frank and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau," according to the release.
CATIC is a title insurance underwriter and member for the American Land Title Association, the New England Land Title Association, and the North American Bar-Related Title Insurers.
