Connecticut League’s CEO To Head Bay State’s IC FCU

FITCHBURG, Mass. – IC FCU said this morning it has hired Anthony Emerson, president of the CU League of Connecticut the past five years, as president and CEO of the $475 million credit union.

Emerson has a long career as a credit union executive prior to going to the Connecticut League, and worked a vice president of Maine Savings FCU and as an executive at Penobscot County FCU, as well as a contracting officer with the U.S. Air Force.

He is succeeding Anthony Cali, who has served as CEO at the one-time Immaculate Conception Church credit union since 2008 and is retiring this month.

IC FCU serves the western Massachusetts communities of Fitchburg, Leominster, Westminster, Ayer, and surrounding towns.
