LAKE COUNTY, Ill. – Consumers CU has signed with VSoft to implement the company’s merchant remote deposit capture, home/office and mobile RDC, and branch item capture solutions.
The $500-million credit union is deploying VSoft's merchant, home/office and mobile capture products to allow members the convenience of making transactions from their office, store, home or any location using any smart phone or tablet device.
VSoft said its branch item capture product, which will be deployed as an outsourced, ASP model, captures, corrects and balances transactions to reduce back-office and transportation expenses. The company said the solution will enable the credit union to migrate from its ASP branch capture system to an in-house system once its core conversation is complete if the credit union determines those operations would be more beneficial.
