Cops Hunt Drive-Thru Bandit

LAS CRUCES, N.M. - (06/06/06) -- A man sped through the drive-thrulane at First Light FCU Monday, told the teller he left a bomb inthe lobby, then sped away with bag of cash. The drive-thru robberyoccured just after opening when the suspect pulled up at thedrive-thru teller and gave her a note demanding cash and that hehad placed a bag with explosives in the lobby. The credit union wasshut down while police searched the building but did not find theexplosives. Las cruces police are searching for thesuspect.
