PLANO, Texas — Rick Grady, VP research for the Cornerstone Credit Union League, recently was elected to the city council here.

Grady, who already was a member of the Plano Chamber of Commerce and on its Political Action Advisory Committee, will serve a four-year term on the city council.
According to the Cornerstone CU League, Grady has been "heavily involved" in volunteer work at the city level for a more than a decade, and has said he wants to "set an example for credit union people to get involved in their communities."
"That, we think, he certainly is doing," the League said in a statement. "Cornerstone is proud to have Rick Grady on its team. Congratulations, Rick!"
