On the heels of its $500,000 investment in the National Credit Union Foundation's Community Investment fund, Constitution State Corporate CU has also provided its CUBoardroom product to the foundation. The CIF investment will help the foundation continue its CU development and outreach efforts, while the Cuboardroom product has allowed the foundation to transfer confidential documents and facilitate communications among individuals such as board members located throughout the U.S.
"By donating this product to the NCUF, Constitution State has enabled the foundation to significantly improve our information distribution capabilities," said Chuck Purvis, NCUF chairman and senior vice president for Coastal FCU in North Carolina. "Coastal has been using Cuboardroom for over a year and we love it, as does our board."
CUboardroom is a Web-based product that allows organizations such as the NCUF and their boards to distribute information, post news, archive documents and even participate in meetings all via their desktop computers.
CUboardroom eliminates high photocopy and postage costs through the secure delivery of confidential information via an encrypted Web browser interface.
The corporate's CUSO, SmartSource Solutions has donated time to work with the NCUF to implement Cuboardroom and train staff in its use.
