Corporate Pac-Man in CU Tech Field

GLASTONBURY, Ct. – Open Solutions Inc., which was acquired just four months ago by two private equity firms, said yesterday it has agreed to acquire Fincentric, the Canadian provider of management solutions for credit unions and banks. OSI, which was acquired in October in a $1.4 billion deal by The Carlyle Group and Providence Capital Partners, is itself a conglomeration of some eight back-office service providers for credit unions and banks. Financial terms of the deal are not required to be disclosed because OSI is now privately owned.
