PORTLAND, Ore. – Bob Corwin has been named president of Advantis Credit Union, effective with the retirement of current president/CEO Ron Barrick.

Corwin currently is CEO of Meritrust Credit Union, Wichita, Kan., where he has overseen growth to $830 million in assets from $550 million over the past four years. Prior to joining Meritrust (which was called Boeing Wichita CU at the time), Corwin spent 30-years with First Tech CU in Beaverton, Ore.

The $930-million Advantis serves 48,000 members.
