Credit Union 1 Selects USERS' DataSafe

The $402-million Credit Union 1 here has selected USERS' DataSafe solution as its new core processing system. The 100,000-member credit union will convert to USERS in April of 2006.

The credit union said that the key factors tipping the scale in favor of the Valley Forge, Penn.-based USERS' was its robust cross-selling capabilities, a wide range of Internet solutions, and browser-based software that speeds training and reduces costs. USERS said its Cross-Selling Manager solution will help Credit Union 1 expand the number of products and services each member uses, which is a primary business objective.

The CU also cited the browser-based system and the openness of USERS' system as determining factors.
