SAN JOSE, Calif. – The World Council of Community Credit Unions has arranged a training session at Meriwest Credit Union’s main office here for a dozen executives from Alianza Federation of Mexico.
The Federation is an alliance of credit unions who have banded together to gain savings by consolidating operations and other services. Alianza represents more than 170 credit union branches, serving more than 350,000 members in Mexico.
The training will take place Aug. 24, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The visiting executives will learn about risk management, loan underwriting, marketing and branch operations from Meriwest CU executives.
