The robber appeared to be a man dressed as a woman in a long, black wig, a black pantsuit, a white shirt and white shoes but was exposed as a male when he presented a demand note to the teller.

The thief has been dubbed the "Man Hands Bandit," which is a reference to the episode of the TV show "Seinfeld" in which Jerry dates a woman with "man hands."
