LOMPOC, Calif. – Coast Hills FCU is notifying members of an apparent debit card fraud at a local restaurant, Orcutt Burger.
The credit union says it has stopped all signature-based debit transactions to prevent further theft from any debit card activity.
Members can still use their debit cards at other places, but they must use the four-digit pin number to complete the transaction, the credit union said.
Coast Hills says members will be getting new debit cards in the mail.
Members are being warned to use cash only at Orcutt Burger.
