CU*BASE Teams Up With eDoc Innovations

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.-CU*BASE and eDOC Innovations announced increased integration to better serve CUs' member service departments. One project the teams have been working on would allow for standard CU*BASE loan and member service documents including applications, worksheets, and denial notices to be integrated into eDOC Innovations electronic document handling tools.

CU*Answers Introduces Defense DB To Secure Data

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.-CU*Answers has introduced a new security solution, Defense DB, which will help secure member data and meet new regulatory requirements the CUSO said. The new software is 18 months in the making and spent the last full year being put to the test in a live ASP environment. The CUSO said Defense DB will help CU teams "remain above reproach" when asked how they manage their data and staff.

In other news, the firm also launched Teller Receipt Analysis, which shows summary totals and detail for common receipt line items, including checks in, cash in, cash back, advances, forwarded funds, deposits and withdrawals.

Spokane Law Enforcement CU Invests In CU*NorthWest

SPOKANE, Wash.-Spokane Law Enforcement CU is the latest part owner of CU*NorthWest, a data processing CUSO. Th $34 million CU converted its core processing system to CU*BASE from Users in October of last year. CU*NorthWest now has 10 owners and expects to add another in the next few months.
