CU Lobby Team Fills Out

ALEXANDRIA, Va. - (03/23/06) – NCUA announced Wednesday ithired a legislative assistant for Senate Banking Committee memberJim Bunning, to serve under chief congressional liaison JohnMcKechnie as the agency’s number two congressional lobbyist.The hiring of Anne-Marie Kelley completes the transformation of theagency’s lobbying team, the same week CUNA filled its toplobbying position, vacated in December by McKechnie. CUNA announcedearlier this week it hired John Magill, chief of staff toCalifornia Congressman Wally Herger, and Dean Sagar, legislativeaide to the Democrats on the House Financial Services Committee, asits two top lobbyists. And last month NAFCU hired congressionalstaffer Dan Berger as its new chief lobbyist.
