The credit union has proposed a renovation of the vacant showroom building in which 10 employees would work. It currently is housed inside an office at Evangelical Community Hospital. The credit union told officials it is seeking to develop the subdivided, 44,000-square-foot lot, which includes the showroom building.

The building became vacant when Pennsylvania House, a unit of La-Z-Boy, moved manufacturing to China, taking 425 jobs with it.
