PORTLAND, Ore.-With the release of its first quarter training schedule, CU Business Group LLC announced it will reduce course registration fees for credit unions in 2009.
"CU Business Group recognizes that these are tough economic times, but we also recognize the value of quality education, which is why we've made our courses even more affordable for credit unions in 2009," said Larry Middleman, president/CEO.
The CUSO, which is offering 17 online webinar courses throughout the first quarter of 2009, has reduced registration rates to $69 for 200- and 300-level courses for CU Business Group member CUs. The first log-in to 100-level courses will remain free for members. For all other attendees, the fee is $99 per course. Last year's rates were between $119 and $229. Fees for first quarter regional training courses have also been reduced by up to $100 per class, and will take place in seven states to help reduce traveling costs to the attendees.
