CUES To Recognize The 'Rising 100'

The Credit Union Executives Society has created a new recognition program, CUES Rising 100, to replace its former CUES Marketer of the Year and CUES Technology Executive of the Year awards.

The new program was unveiled during the group's CEO Network 2005 at the Four Seasons Hotel here.

Every two years starting in 2006, 100 credit union executives will be inducted into this unique group. Inductees, nominated by themselves, their peers or CEO, will represent the next generation of credit union leaders and will embody the spirit of the movement. CUES Rising 100 honorees will come from all functional areas; CEOs are not eligible.

"We believe this new recognition program better fits CUES' mission of advancing careers for all credit union executives," said Gary Irvin, CUES Chairman and CEO of FORUM CU. "It reflects the honorees' support and accomplishments-preparing them to become the future leaders of the movement at a critical time."

Each CUES Rising 100 member will receive a framed recognition, be mentioned in CUES' award-winning Credit Union Management(tm) magazine, be recognized at CEO Network, and will be featured on CUES' website at www.cues.org.

To be eligible, nominees must be employed by a credit union and be a CUES member in good standing for at least one year.
