CUISPA Hosts Risk Management Workshops

AUSTIN, Texas - The Credit Union Information Security Professionals Association (CUISPA) said it will host a series of Regional Risk Management Workshops this year to "address the critical topics that credit union IT departments are facing."

Initial sites for the workshops, which are to start during the second quarter, include Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and New York starting in early second quarter of 2007. Additional locations will be added according to demand, the group said.

"The regional workshops will focus on these key issues with one-day, one-topic agendas. Sessions will be presented and moderated by experienced credit union IT managers, providing detailed education, strategies, and confidential peer-to-peer knowledge sharing.

Additionally, the workshops will allocate time for demonstrations of three to four solutions that address the topic of discussion," said CUISPA Executive Director Kelly Dowell.
