NEW YORK A video billboard touting the credit union difference was unveiled for millions of viewers in Times Square this morning and will run through CUNA’s annual America’s Credit Union Conference, being held in New York City June 30 through July 3.
The 15-second spot on the CBS video billboard urges viewers to try a credit union and suggests they visit the aSmarterchoice.org website which discusses the virtues of credit unions.
A series of messages about the benefits of credit union membership will be rotated on this 26-feet wide, 20-feet high video billboard starting today. The full-color, full-motion ad will be shown throughout the day and evening, repeating hourly on the CBS Screen. The message tells consumers if they want a bank they can actually trust, go to a credit union, where they'll find better rates, lower fees, and no stockholders competing against their interests.
“It was such a great opportunity for us we couldn’t pass it up,” Pat Keefe, spokesman for CUNA said this morning.
