CUNA Mutual Reports $136M In Income

CUNA Mutual Group is reporting $136 million in net income for 2004, a slight increase over the $134 million reported in 2003. Company spokesperson Syd Lindner said the 2004 operating gain of $122 million fell slightly short of the goal of $125 million. The company reported a return on equity of 9.5%. The bulk of CUNA Mutual's income, which includes CUNA Mutual Insurance Society and CUNA Mutual Life, came from life and health premiums.
