WASHINGTON – CUNA reported its top management personnel received average raises of 5% last year, moving CUNA President Dan Mica to the cusp of a $1 million salary. CUNA paid Mica $901,000 in 2006, up from $858,000 the year before, and retirement benefits of $71,000–for a total of $972,000. That’s three times the compensation NAFCU paid its CEO, Fred Becker, who earned $355,000 in 2006, including a $309,000 salary and $46,000 in retirement benefits.
