Dakota Plains CU Adopts Fiserv's XP2 Tech Suite

Dakota Plains Credit Union of Edgeley, N.D. announced it has adopted the XP2 integrated technology suite from Fiserv, Inc., a Brookfield, Wis.-based provider of financial services technology. The XP2 suite includes core account processing, solutions for online mobile banking, electronic payments, as well as statements and card processing.

The $68 million institution said the commercial lending capabilities, functionality and member service support were some of the driving factors behind adopting the suite to serve the CU's 4,200 members.

"The integrated suite greatly expands our service capabilities, and outsourcing these products enables us to focus more of our attention on new products and services to satisfy our members," said Michael Reisnour, president and CEO of Dakota Plains CU.

Fiserv said the partnership will give Dakota Plains opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce costs while being able to focus resources on increasing loan growth. "The integrated XP2 suite will help increase Dakota Plains' efficiency and allow them to deliver a portfolio of products and services that reflect the way people live and work today," said Santo Cannone, chief product officer for Credit Union Solutions at Fiserv.

The suite includes Fiserv products Virtual Branch for online banking, Mobiliti for mobile banking, CheckFree RXP for electronic payments, Statement Advantage for statements/e-statements, Wisdom for accounting and call report functionality, Nautilus for enterprise content management, and additional services supporting commercial lending and card processing.

"Our members live and work in thriving farm communities, and our credit union has strong demand for commercial and agricultural loans. We needed a new integrated core technology suite to service these loans with high efficiency," Reisnour said.
