DENTON, Texas – DATCU CU, which recorded its best year ever, shared record earnings with its members by paying $974,000 in special dividends Jan. 1.
The payout was almost triple the $364,000 paid out last year, the credit union reported.
The dividend of 0.20% was paid based upon a member’s annual average of all balances. The activity and participation of the credit union members contributed to another successful year, DATCU said.
