DDI Exec Faces Charges

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Digital Defense, Inc., a provider of threat and security information management services, has placed Rick Fleming, a member of the company's management team, on an indefinite leave of absence in the wake of child pornography charges against him.

Digital Defense said the FBI notified the company of Fleming's arrest at an undisclosed location for his alleged involvement in child pornography.

"Although Mr. Fleming is presumed innocent of all charges, we have taken the necessary precautions to protect our clients and employees," said Larry R. Hurtado, CEO of Digital Defense. "We have confirmed through our internal investigation that Defense Defense's corporate assets remain secure and that no compromise of client data has occurred."
