MEMPHIS, Tenn. - (01/13/05) -- Memphis Area Teachers CU said itextended a deadline for its annual scholarship applications untilMarch 31. The $550 million credit union will award six four-yearscholarships totaling $60,000 to high school seniors or collegefreshmen pursuing a career in teaching. Recipients will receive upto $2,500 per year for four years. The scholarships are limited tocredit union members.
