LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y. – DealerTrack Holdings, the provider of online systems for indirect lending, reported third quarter profits fell 19%, to $4.5 million, or 11 cents a share.
Third quarter revenue for the company, which went public a year ago, surged 36%, to $62.9 million. For the first three quarters of the year, DealerTrack reported a 36% rise in revenue, to $173.1 million, and a 14% rise in net income, to $15.6 million, or 38 cents a share.
At the end of the third quarter, DealerTrack reported 22,251 dealers and 427 active finance sources are connected to its network.
