Del-One FCU Hires CU Veteran As New CEO

DOVER, Del. – Del-One, Delaware’s second-largest credit union, said yesterday it hired Dion Williams, an experienced credit union executive, as president and CEO of the $272 million institution.

Williams comes from Central Sunbelt FCU, a $160 million Laurel, Miss., credit union he headed, and before that Local Government FCU, where he worked as vice president of financial services for the $1 billion North Carolina credit union.

The 50-year-old Del-One has 7 branches throughout the state of Delaware serving more than 40,000 members.
