Deseret First FCU Teams With MormonBookstore

SPANISH FORK, Utah - (09/01/05) -- Deseret First FCU said it ispartnering with Deseret Book to open a combined credit union andbook store geared towards the two entities main market, the MormonChurch. Both entities, founded to serve the Church of Jesus Christof Latterday Saints, will share a 13,000 square-foot building, tobe completed in November. The facility will be the largest built bythe credit union, and will include a branch, a Deseret Book storeand LDS Distribution Services, as well as retail outlets. Thebranch will serve as a pilot to determine whether the partners willextend the concept elsewhere.
