PHOENIX – Desert Schools FCU yesterday announced it is opening two more in-store Wal-Mart branches this Saturday, in the Phoenix suburbs of Mesa and Peoria.

The $3 billion credit union has one of the largest in-store branch networks of any credit union, a total of 37, including 25 in Wal-Marts, eight in Fry’s supermarkets, two in Safeway, and two in Albertson’s.
Desert Schools plans to open one more branch, a free-standing facility, by year-end, which will be its 64th service center.
