Said Thursdayit has introduced a new initiative aimed at improving ATM security.The Secure Anti-Fraud Enhancements--known as SAFE--includeintegrated sensors, built directly into card readers in Diebold'sOpteva ATMs, that will detect skimmers, special machines that stealcard users information. Also included is an integrated PIN-padshield that will block 'shoulder surfing' and spy cameras trying tosteal card information, like passwords and PINs.
